Photography is all about light. Where there is light there is shadow, and where there is shadow there is form. This workshop is designed for the beginning photographer who already has a basic understanding of how their camera operates and is now looking for something more. A slide lecture is filled with information and illustrations to define your topic along with tips on how to integrate them into your photographs for more impact. The slide lecture will be followed by a fun hands-on opportunity to try out some of the techniques around the museum building. Learning to see the quality, quantity and direction of light and how that relates to shadow and great composition will be at the core of this workshop. Students should bring cameras, instruction manual and notebook.
