Rather than just converting your color images to black and white in post, wouldn’t it be better if you could see the potential of a scene, portrait or still life object as a black and white image while you were shooting? This workshop is designed for beginning black and white photographers and will cover: visualization, scene evaluation, lighting, seeing contrast, understanding brightness values of colors as they convert to black and white, as well as some post processing tips. We will have visual exercises designed to get you thinking differently while shooting. The instructor will demonstrate how to approach an image from start to finish
